Seesmic

Seesmic, a customer multi-platform social network that connects to Twitter and Facebook, has launched a new version 0.6, which adds the ability to read, drive, and comment on pages like Facebook. It's good that follows Seesmic to add more features, but memory is a bit of a bloated pig, and I hope it eases a bit before it reaches version 1.0. He swallowed around 200 MB of RAM on my MacBook, and Lee reported a similar number in your Windows machine. At the top of the pages, there is also a new favorite column, and an answer to all options for Twitter.

Generally, defragmentation has been the most effective and long time solution for computer slowdown. It dose not require any technological knowledge. What you have to do is to get an efficient and reliable defragmenter and spare some time to get it done. There is some good defragmentation software available on the internet. You can download one and try it for free.

The Facebook pages are an example of the tendency of Seesmic to try to be all things to all people. Seesmic has the disadvantage of running in Adobe AIR, that although the application does cross platform and usable by all, is known for its poor performance.

Aardvark

Aardvark, a service that uses social networks to find answers to your questions, now has an application for the iPhone. Aardvark begins with Facebook Connect, find friends who use, then branches into friends and friends of all network users Aardvark. You may ask questions and receive answers via IM or the web. The iPhone version is extra useful because the questions do not always come when you should happen to be in front of a computer.

One thing you have to bear in mind is that defragmentation is a routine work, so you have to pay attention to your computer's health condition and maintain and clean the hard drive when is needed. Only by defragmenting can return your computer to its optimal efficiency.

You can use the iPhone Aardvark both ask and answer questions, and select the categories that help to link with the right people. Aardvark said that most questions are answered within 5 minutes after asking 6 people and get 2 answers. I tested it by asking for a recommendation on the banks in Seattle, and received a good response after about 15 minutes. GigaOM had better luck asking for taxis in San Francisco, get a response in less than 5.

Tiny Pictures

Tiny Pictures operates radar, photo sharing, mobile applications, which has never much traction beyond the base following. The service is actually quite slippery, centered around a current picture comment. Take pictures with his mobile phone to instantly share with friends who were also in demand. You can then comment on the photos.

Therefore, you need to defragment your hard drive to keep your computer in health. You could run the defragmenting program to see if your computer needs defragmentation.

It sounds simple, but demand has reached a critical mass of users. The service focuses more on sharing moments of life through photos with people who really know that creating a current of public photos. So if you know someone who uses it, there is little reason to join. The friends-and-attendance of the family must have appealed to Shutterfly, however, is based precisely on the type of image exchange. It has a rich database of people who enjoy sharing photos with others. Radar can extend to mobile phones in a social and fun.

BloggersBase

BloggersBase expected to monetize their platform, offering a premium user generated content discovery and delivery platform for media companies to help select and organize content citizen journalist. For example, The Jerusalem Post is using the technology to a contest BloggerBase UGC.

In theory, the idea of BloggersBase, especially when it comes to their white-label offering is attractive. There is certainly a need for a mechanism by which to sift through the millions of blogs in the blogosphere.

But the biggest challenge for BloggersBase is the ability to attract sustained attention from blogs and readers. Without compelling content, the site does not attract engaged readers. Naturally, with the popularity of media companies incorporating UGC into their new platforms, such as CNN's iReport, BloggersBase may provide media companies with another way to sort the contents.
